This one-day fieldtrip to West Torrington, Connecticut is intended to introduce the bedrock stratigraphy of wallrocks of the Hodges Complex, a 446 Ma mafic and ultramafic intrusive situated astride a major tectonic boundary - Cameron's Line. Nine stops have been selected to best illustrate the geology of the quadrangle paying particular attention to the Hodges wallrocks.
