This trip focuses on the results of recently published mapping and geochronology studies in the New Milford quadrangle in western Connecticut. It visits significant outcrops of Mesoproterozoic basement rocks and their lower Paleozoic cover west of Cameron's Line as well as allochthonous rocks on both sides of the line.
